Cleary Building privacy policy
This policy describes information submitted through the Cleary Building procurement inquiry form and the blog response form. It applies to inquiries about steel building packages and requests about personal data. A separate project agreement may specify how the parties handle confidential drawings, supplier documentation and inspection records.
Who receives the inquiry
The form requests a name, email, telephone, company, project country and message so the procurement team can identify the request and reply. When asking about an existing file, identify the company and the inquiry topic. Include the construction country only where it helps explain the request. Use the contact form to agree on a suitable way to transmit confidential project records.
Why the data is used
The purpose is to reply with missing design inputs or a review time. Country, bay size, loads, crane, door height, and envelope notes are technical data for that reply. They are not used to build a public marketing list. A blog comment is used to display the comment and to answer it. If you withhold the privacy confirmation, the form does not submit.
What is not collected on purpose
The site does not ask for payment card numbers, government identity numbers, or health information. Do not place those in the message. Drawings you attach in a later email may contain site coordinates. Send only what the review needs. Example load values published on the engineering page are not personal data.
How long files are kept
Unanswered inquiries and gap lists are kept for 24 months from the last message so a restarted brief can be compared with what was already marked unknown. If a contract follows, the contract’s retention rule replaces this 24-month note for that project. Blog comments remain while the article remains published, unless a removal request is accepted. Server logs that record IP address and time are kept for up to 90 days for abuse handling.
Sharing
A supplier, appointed engineer, inspection coordinator or freight provider may need some information to respond to a project request. Ask which recipient needs each document before sharing it. Hosting and communication services may also process submissions. International transfer can occur when the procurement parties operate in different countries.
Your requests
Use the contact form and identify your message as a privacy request if you wish to ask about access, correction or deletion. Include the email address associated with the submission so the relevant record can be found. Additional verification may be needed before information can be disclosed.
Children and changes
The site serves business procurement teams. When submitting an inquiry, include business contact details and information relevant to the building package. If project documents contain personal information unrelated to the request, remove it from the copy prepared for procurement.
