Cleary Building terms of service

These terms describe use of the Cleary Building sourcing site and the project inquiry form. A separate written purchase or service agreement defines responsibilities for a particular order, including price, scope, inspection and delivery. Review the applicable agreement before committing to a supplier.

What the site is

The pages describe China sourcing and supplier comparison for portal-frame warehouses, workshops, hangars and insulated shells. Published dimensions, loads and layouts illustrate the information that may be needed in an inquiry. The appointed engineer and candidate supplier should confirm the actual site criteria and the proposed scope.

No permit, no universal approval

Nothing on this site is a building permit, a fire approval, or a statement that a frame is earthquake proof, hurricane proof, or fireproof. ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001, where referenced, are management-system scopes. They are not structural certifications and not evidence that IBC, Eurocode 3, NCC, or a local code has been satisfied. AWS D1.1, EN 1090, ASCE 7, and AISC language is used only in the way the engineering page describes: when a contract or a real certificate names that document.

Inquiries

An inquiry asks the desk to list missing design inputs or to schedule a review. It does not create an order. A bay size such as 30x40, 30x50, or 40x60 feet is geometry. It is not an offer and not a published cost per square foot. Prices, if any, appear later in a written quotation that states loads, envelope, doors, crane, and destination. Verbal comments and page text are not quotations.

Documents on request

Checklists and blanks are issued against a request. Revision dates on the site identify the blank, not a claim that your project was designed to that revision. Calculations prepared for one site may not be reused on another site, another code edition, or another occupancy. A house inquiry is not accepted as an industrial warehouse file unless occupancy and energy rules are stated.

Acceptable use

Do not use the form to send malicious code, to impersonate another company, or to request that the desk stamp drawings it did not prepare. Do not scrape the site in a way that degrades service for other users. Trademarks of third parties, including aircraft operators, remain theirs. Photographs are generic shop and site scenes, not proof of a named contract.

Liability limit

To the extent the law allows, the website is provided as an information desk. Cleary Building is not liable for decisions made from example numbers, from a gap list that was based on an incomplete brief, or from a page that has since been revised. Project liability, if it exists, is defined in the contract for that project, including any cap and any exclusion the contract states. These terms do not limit liability that applicable law forbids limiting.
